It is always hard to take a big step, and launching this website is the third biggest step I have ever taken. It might seem small or insignificant to others, but for me, it took a lot of strength to press that button today.
Why?
Because The Shift is something that has been on my mind for a long time now. It started as a question after an unfinished D&D campaign (for those who might ask, it was D&D 5e, 2014 edition), and I sat on the idea for a long time.
I am not publishing it to become popular. If I can find just ten people who are excited about the world I have created, I will be happy. If I find one hundred, I will be even happier, but I am writing this story for myself and my wife first and foremost.
The Shift has become an integral part of my days, and with today’s step, dear reader, I offer my world, my dreams, and my imagination to you.
